    Sand coloured stone.

Desert Rose Selenite, also known as Gypsum Rose or Sand Rose, is a type of Selenite formed from a combination of water, wind, and sand. Sand becomes embedded in Selenite blades, while additions of water overtime help form the signature “rosette” formation. Most specimens on the market have been brushed lightly with a torch to help define these rose petal shapes, though it does not affect the energy of these stones. These tend to be formed over a couple of hundred years, rather than like a majority of crystals and minerals which have formed millions, and sometimes billions of years ago. Desert Rose Selenite is commonly found in most deserts around the world in countries such as Mexico, Morocco, Saudi Arabia, Australia, Tunisia, and Afghanistan.

Most specimens are very fragile and should be held with great caution.

  • Please Note

Very fragile stone. Handle with care. Keep away from water and moisture.

Due to the nature of natural crystal stone, there may be slight variations in dimensions, shape, colour, inclusions and transparency.

Due to variations of screen display, colours may appear slightly differently.

Each piece is unique, keep in mind that the piece you will receive may have certain minor differences to the illustrative photographs.
